Warastone, Sepik: Registration for a crucial Local Church Governance System training commenced today, with the first session kicking off this morning at the Warastone Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The training, which has attracted participants from as far as Bewani Green, Border, and Vanimo, aims to equip church leaders with essential knowledge on the organizational structure of the SDA church, effective governance, and board management.
Participants will also delve into the intricacies of the Church Manual and its practical application.
The training is specifically tailored for pastors, elders, clerks, treasurers, and ministry leaders. It is designed to enhance their leadership capabilities, improve decision-making processes, and ensure compliance with church regulations.
In addition to the training, the Adventist Bookshop from Vanimo will be setting up a stall here in Warastone to provide a wider range of books and literature to the participants.
Other departments such as Sabbath School, Personal Ministries, Communications, and Health and Wellness are also conducting their respective trainings alongside the governance training, providing a comprehensive leadership development opportunity for church leaders.
The mission believe that this training will significantly strengthen the leadership capacity of local churches in the region.
