14 Feb 2025

Friday, 14th February 2025 - In a momentous occasion, Kreer SDA Primary School celebrated the dedication of its new four-in-one classroom building, marking a significant milestone in the school's growth and development. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, teachers, students, and parents, all gathered to witness this imp event.

Mr. Tom Sauma, in his welcoming remarks, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all present, acknowledging the collective efforts that made the new classrooms a reality. He extended special thanks to the outgoing administration led by Mrs. Yaninen and the former board chairman, Mr. Tom Balagawi, for their instrumental roles in the construction project. Mr. Sauma also welcomed the new administration under Mrs. Jeannette Wirise, who has been pivotal in seeing the project through to completion.

Mrs. Wirise, in her address, conveyed the school's deep appreciation to the parents of each student who contributed K50.00 towards the construction. Their financial support was crucial in building this new educational facility. She also extended a special thanks to Mr. Nickson Berak for overseeing the construction and ensuring the building met government regulations, certifying it as ready for use.

The ceremony included a poignant speech by the mission president, Pastor Henry Monape, followed by a dedication prayer led by Pastor Michael Lus, the SSPM Director of Sepik Mission. The highlight of the event was the ribbon-cutting ceremony, performed by Pastor Henry Monape, the mission's CFO Mr. Peter Daniel, and the school's head teacher, Mrs. Jeannette Wirise.

The new classrooms will accommodate the growing student population, with the upper two rooms designated for Grades 5 and 6, and the lower two for preparatory classes. This expansion is timely, as Kreer SDA Primary School continues to attract more students, ensuring a quality learning environment for all.

The dedication of these new classrooms signifies not just an expansion in infrastructure but a commitment to providing the best educational facilities for the students of Kreer SDA Primary School.
