Popondetta, Oro Province - Sixty-nine brave souls from the East and West Sepik regions recently concluded a grueling journey to attend the 20th Biennial Convention of the Papua New Guinea Adventist Tertiary Students Association (PNGATSA) in Popondetta, Oro Province.
Their epic adventure began on November 30th with a daring river voyage down the mighty Sepik River. The group, composed of Adventist students and professionals, faced the river's challenges, demonstrating their resilience and determination.
After conquering the river, they embarked on a land journey, traversing the rugged terrains of Madang and Lae. Finally, they took to the sea, boarding the M.V. Sulu Express for the final leg of their journey to Popondetta.
The PNGATSA Convention, a yearly gathering of Adventist students from universities and colleges across the nation, provides a platform for intellectual exchange, spiritual growth, and social bonding. This year's convention is anticipated to be a life-changing experience for the Sepik delegates as they connect with peers from diverse backgrounds and explore new ideas.
